How to completely remove media from iPod?

I am looking to remove all my media from my sister's old iPod Classic 6th generation she recently gave me. I do not want to remove each song by song, as it will take too long. How could I remove all her old stuff from it?

You could mount it as a usb drive and find the folder with the songs. Should be something obviously named like Music or similar (differs with each ipod and its OS)

There is no folder called music, and when i go into any folder on it, nautilus says "this media is associated with rhythmbox", and i can only open rhythmbox.
