Is there any replies to me? as quick as possible. Thanks
What were you upgrading? the 8.0 doesn't exist. It's 8.10 or 8.04 LTS. And why were you upgrading to 9.04? The newest version is 10.04 LTS.
I would suggest you do a new installation with ubuntu 10.04 LTS. If you save your home folder, you won't lose settings, you'll 'just' have to reïnstall your apps. Do try the live cd before you install ubuntu and check if everything works. (you'll have to install the restricted extra's to play mp3's)
You can wait for a better solution but I've always had problems with the 9.04 and the 9.10 version. With the 10.04 version, all my problems were solved.
Opposite for me. I have a friend that can run 10.04 flawless and I envy clutter but I have video problems with ithad problems with the 9.04 and the 9.10 version. With the 10.04 version, all my problems were solved.
