HP dv6605us titlebar missing, compiz + wireless not working

I had upgraded today from 9.10 to 10.04.

Now I can't get multiple workspaces. The workplace switcher applet crashes on a fresh boot when I choose preferences. When I reload it, it only provides a selection for rows not columns. That did not provide additional workspaces. It just appeared to in the panel.

My internal broadcom 4311 sees my router but won't connect to it (did once for 2 min.). My external realtek 8187 is detected but doesn't see ANY networks. It also won't recognize ANY Ralink adapters, they do light up but don't show up when I 'lsusb' .

Compiz doesn't seem to do anything anymore.

Cairo-dock makes the bottom third of my screen black.

Also, all programs open in the upper left hand corner with no titlebar and are NOT movable.

EDIT: Fixed the Compiz, Cairo-dock, title bars and, multiple workspaces by installing compiz fusion icon and reloading window manager. I still need to do this after every reboot.
