Exclamation how to change the login screen in Ubuntu 10.04?

hello, i have try to change my themes to OSX Leopard, but there is some trouble about changing the login screen...there is the command:

    6. Install the OS X login screen (Login screens are generally referred to Gnome Display Manager or GDM)

    • - Open the Login Window manager via System--->Administration--->Login Window
      - Enter administration password
      - Select the Local tab
      - Click the Add button and point to the
osx-login.tar.gz archive or use one of the other archives in the GDM folder
      - You should see a new login screen appear
      - Place a check mark by the new login screen and make sure there are no other check marks next to any other login screens
      - Select Close

but i can't find system-->administration-->login window in Ubuntu 10.04...someone help me please.....

    Hi,

Apparantly, this feature has been removed from 10.04. You could manually change the background, or use a tweak util for it:

I also want to customize the login screen. Which files should I edit to change the layout of the login window(or other properties)? And where can I find the widgets it uses?

This lack of functionality is very frustrating. Every upgrade seems to be a downgrade...
