Same. In 2006, they only lost because of a very bad ref call (imaginary penalty for Italy). They had a much better coach than they have now, though. We'll see. I'll still be cheering for Germany.

I missed the the red card though. The commentators said it was harsh, but what happened?

Just a rough tackle from behind. The red was a bit harsh indeed, it would've deserved a yellow. Overall, the ref was really nice to Germany, I'm still not sure the first goal is valid, I have to watch my recording.
