    Exclamation Can't reboot

OK, the case is simple. I cannot reboot my notebook. When I click "reboot" system logs out from the Gnome, and the screen is blank, but it's not restarting. Only hard reset works. "Turn off" works perfectly.

    I didn't have that issue with 9.10, only with 10.04 x64.
Maybe the issue is with my notebook architecture which is ASUS K70IO with dual core Intel Pentium T4300.

    Any solution?

PS. This thread is marked as if it was Kubuntu's bug, but I meant Ubuntu, it was my mistake when I wrote it.

many users have these issues since karmic a2 time depending on hardware. Sometimes logs can help to find what is wrong:

    - .xsession-errors into /home (unhide it with menu)

    - system admin log viewer
