    Disable suspend and hibernate

Changes to upower.policy such as this work on Ubuntu but not Lubuntu. Does anyone know how to disable and remove both items from the Lubuntu shutdown menu?

Lubuntu has breathed new life into an otherwise paperweight-able laptop, but it's destined for a nanna so any extraneous non-functional items are best unseen.

Do you want to disable suspend ? I suspect your problems stem from the beta quality of LXDE
    KDE SC 4.4

    Re: Disable suspend and hibernate

The Ubuntu solution disables suspend and hibernate and removes them from the shutdown menu, however in Lubuntu the solution removes the options from other power menus (on lid close, when idle etc.) but not the shutdown menu, and doesn't actually prevent the system from suspending/hibernating.

While Lubuntu 10.04 is considered to be a 'Stable Beta' it is quite polished, and offers a much better light option for nanna duty than Crunchbang.
