    Wifi keep disconnecting in 10.04

I never had this problem with Ubuntu before and I am now confused. This is a clean install and I have not change anything about my AP so don't why this is happening.

Every 5min or so my wifi keeps disconnecting and sometimes have problems reconnecting. I also have Windows on this machine and it does not do this at all. My AP is set to channel 9(changing it makes no difference), WPA2. Please help. Logs below

Re: Wifi keep disconnecting in 10.04

    Hi ram,
I have a similar problem, but with less frequency. I see the

    Code:
No probe response from AP <address> after 500ms, disconnecting
Message as well and I think this may have something to do with it.

How busy is the airspace where you are? Only 5 other weak signals within reach here, but that my affect the frequency.

What sort of card are you using? I have an intel 5300
    Code:
     $sudo lshw | grep -B 1 -A 11 Wireless
    *-network
                    description: Wireless interface
                    product: Wireless WiFi Link 5300

If you have problems reconnecting, I have found that either the wifi switch on my machine or restarting the network manager service with

    Code:
     $sudo service network-manager restart
gets me going again, but it is very annoying to have to use that.

    Hi guys,
    Check out this bug.

    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...4?comments=all

It sure seems like most people are relating this to network load here. But the bug original filing is rather old.

Does it look like your problems?

I'm going to try a BIOS update and see if that helps me.
