Experiences with acer 1825 ?

Hi everyone. Fridgecow (previously drnessie) here.

So, my acer is getting gradually and gradually worse. I'm sure you've all moved on to better hardware, but I'm stuck using my battered horse.

Recently, I've encountered a problem. I dropped my laptop some time ago and at first, everything continued to work, but with a small crack in the casing (around the border of the screen).

A few weeks ago, the far right of the screen (where the crack is) has stopped responding to touches. This was *managable*.

Now, however, the screen started to send phantom touches and also the very top of the screen is unusable (like the right).

I'm attaching a picture. You may not be able to help, but considering all the incredible android work you've done here you seem to know a lot about the hardware (Thanks, btw ).

Also, I'm loving Win8 - We are officially hipsters, having touchscreen laptops before it was cool.
