That is the default behavior when using netbook edition, works with chrome, checked
since netbook edition uses the same panel, maybe you should just look which applet is responsible for that behavior, it may be that "maximize" or how is it called that is designed just for that, (I'm not home so I can't check it)

Thanks. I've tried with maximus, but it doesn't work (at least for me). I've installed window-picker-applet too, but I don't know if it's what I need and I don't know how to add to the panel.

kenpuu, what are those little tabs at the top left hand side? One of them I see is for GoogleMail. How do I get those little tabs?
    - "Make me a coffee..."
    - "No"
    - "sudo make me a coffee"
    - "OK"

If you press the right click on the GMail tab, and you select Pin Tab(I think, in spanish it's "Fijar Pestaña"), it becomes a little tab with only the icon. ¿Any idea with my question?

I was trying to figure if someone had implemented that feature

I was thinking about moving only the pinned tabs right in the top panel bar. Full tabs would be far too large for my netbook screen so pinned tabs up there would be a perfect setup.

I would place the pinned tabs "upside down" in the panel bar and the standard tabs would remain where they are currently.

Well we need to promote that idea now, because it's awesome
