    USB and Startup problem

I upgraded to 10.04 without incident. No problems or errors noted.

I am running an IBM Thinkpad T42p, dual booting with XP

When I start up the system I get two error messages:

In the dos screen (prior to the splash screen) the message
"Unable to enumerate the USB Number 3" [where my printer is plugged in]

Then, when the desktop comes up, there is an error message that says that there is no systray available. the latest version of HPLip is installed, and it has been printing, but it no longer recognizes the printer.

None of these problems affect XP.

Is there any solution, other than emailing myself anything I want to print and then doing it in XP?

    Re: USB and Startup problem

Can you just plug into a different USB port?
