New Icon Gnome theme "BlankOn"

I released new icon theme for Gnome, it's SVG icons.

The theme is the default icon Theme for an Indonesian Linux named BlankOn Linux http://www.blankonlinux.or.id. It's a gnome icon theme so it will work with UBUNTU too

Too dark for me, but anyway, good work!
The one i like is the gartoon theme. Hope you release new icons soon!

Why is it that the majority of the icon themes in GNOME are 2D old/rusty looking graphics? We are in 21st century! Let's have some proper 3D, colourful icons which are professional at the same time!! (Garton looks great for a personal user)

3d and colorful AND professional don't really go well together usually, unfortunately. THE ONLY icon theme that I've seen that is 3d, colorful, and professional is the Mac OSX icon theme. They really know how to do interface design.

3d icons? You mean like Mac OS9?

heh. Gnome icons are far from old and rusty looking. In fact the majority of icons available for the Gnome desktop are extremely modern, fresh, and in line with the current trends of graphic design.

Have you read the Gnome HIG?

Maybe take a look at Gnome-Look or to get a better idea of what I'm talking about, Print Magazine ...

Gnome is spot on trend with the clean, sophisticated looks of the modern design world. If you don't like that trend, that's fine, I'm sure there are plenty of icons out there for you to use, but it's certainly neither old nor rusty looking.
