So what happens when you select the Reload option?

Not that this is an answer to the problem, but I am having the same problem. I found it through the TOP command, it was listed as a zombie process. When I killed the process, I got that same message. However; I choose to reload, and clock came back. A few hours later, I checked TOP again, found a zombie process, killed it and got the error.

Something is happening, my machine has only been up for 7 days, it was 12 days before I had to reset before that and I did not have any problems. It had to be in the last update I ran.
