Was wondering why this thread was closed: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1471791&page=2

The OP had a good point. It was one of the few relevant posts in T&E, and I didn't see any reason why it was closed. I was actually going to reply to it to expand upon the idea a little.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for it to be reopened or anything. Just, usually you can tell when a mod closes a thread why they did it (even if you have to bend the conversation out of context a little). This time, I must confess, I found nothing.

As for that post, I didn't want it reopened, I just was trying to understand how you guys are interpreting the CoC so I don't make any mistakes. And I didn't see any reason for it being closed, that's why I bumped the thread.

Before that's taken out of context, let me clarify. What I mean is that you said the thread was closed for the reason given, but I didn't see a reason given. That's why I kept asking.
