Totem video blinks while changing volume in Ubuntu 10.04

I have fresh install (not upgrade) of Ubuntu 10.04. I have nVidia 8500GT VGA, drivers installed via System->Administration->Hardware drivers (ver. 195.36.15)
    Everything works fine, compiz too.
But when I play the video in Totem movie player - in blinks ugly while changing volume directly via buttons on keyboard. It blinks in fullscreen and even in window. I did not have this in Ubuntu 9.10 - there it worked fine. What was changed? How to fix this? Interesting is that when I play it via mplayer - it is fine.

    Any ideas?
