    64-bit 10.04 won't let Lotus Symphony install

    Despite the force parameter and instructions provided by IBM and despite what I've read in the press about a close collaboration between Ubuntu Symphony camps, this will not install.

    Oddly enough you can install 32-bit software under 64-bit OpenSuSE without a problem.

    There is this post on the symphony site http://symphony.lotus.com/software/lotus/symphony/help.nsf/GeneralFAQ#15 but I can't get past the first line : sudo apt-get install libstdc++5.

    Error msg: "Couldn't find package libstdc++5". Still working on it....

    I was able to find the package here:

    http://packages.debian.org/lenny/amd...dc++5/download

    I am still working on the rest.
