does the System76 Pangolin Performance laptop have user removable battery?

I was looking on the web for a laptop that comes preinstalled with Ubuntu because my two laptops over the past 6 years have had problems running it. I thought the Dell Vostro v13 looked pretty awesome but it doesnt' have a user removable battery. After looking at the Ubuntu Forums I found this one:

    http://www.system76.com/product_info...roducts_id=100

Does anyone know if the battery on that is removable (so I can use it with just the power cord when I'm at home)?

Also - any comments on if its a good deal for the specs? Any other Ubuntu laptop recommendations?

    Thanks,

    Adel

one more question if you guys don't mind! =)

I read here that the OS that comes with the System76 laptop is not the same as the standard Ubuntu.

Does the System76 laptop come with an install CD so that I can fresh install without fear of having to look for all the drivers I need/etc myself?

    Thanks,

    Adel

I don't believe they come with a CD but all the necessary drivers are packaged together and getting them installed back on your system is pretty straightforward.

In addition to Flyers2391's comment, System76 computers do come with pretty much standard Ubuntu, plus our System76 Driver.
