ok you said you had mobile broadband why dose this not work?
It is better to get net connection to update as it will cause lots of problems trying to do it by transferring files or drivers any other way

Do you think in IPv4 settings Autmoatic (DHCP) doesn't work because I didn't put in the DHCP Client ID? Do you have to have the client ID in order to connect?

ok if you try to connect with wireless dose it give you the box for wpa password?

when editing the connection, each time I go to it in security (I have WPA & WPA2 Personal) I have to put in the password again. (the box Connect automaticly is checked-just to tell you). If I go to the availible networks and try to connect from there it immediatly says Wireless Network Disconnected - You are now offline.
are you still there?
are you sure that you are putting in the correct wpa key? are you sure it's not a wep key?

yes im sure. I switched to ubuntu 10.4 and the problem is still there. It is exactly the same as on 9.10!!
