Are there any more Screen resolution options?

Hi, I just got through installing Ubuntu 10.04 to my eee pc and realized that the only choices for my screen resolution are 1024 X 768 or 800 X 600. Both of which are 4:3. Is there any way I can override this? Thanks in advance.

Ubuntu displays the resolutions supported by your current monitor ( Your laptop screen ). And if that is the case it's providing you with the resolutions only available with your current screen screen size.

As far as I know, there is no way to "override" this. As the monitor will usually display "out of range" and then revert back.
