Wink What is the best dock for ubuntu 10.4?

Hey all, i am looking for a nice dock app. Preferably something like Kiba-dock. How would one install kiba-dock on 10.4?

What are the other recommended docks for 10.4?

    Thanks!

    Try docky ,simple and stable.
Can also add docklets such as
    show mounted volumes
    clock
    weather
    trash
    show desktop
    cpu monitor
    gmail checker

I'm actually having some massive stability problems with Docky since I upgraded to 10.04. It seems to close every 15 minutes or so on me.

If you're using Docky through Gnome Do, then yes. It's having stability issues in Lucid. The standalone Docky however, is vastly its superior and is amazingly stable with much better options.

Docky or gnome-do in docky mode?
I've had no problems with docky on lucid.
    I use both.
Docky as my dock and gnome-do in normal mode.
    Gnome-do crashes a lot.

Docky stand-alone. I was surprised as well. Docky under 9.10 was stable like a rock.

I also had issues with the Docky why seems to be unstable.
Another issue with the Docky is that the default Dock will be at the bottom of the screen and I couldn't get it to the top of the screen and finally had to uninstall it.

If anyone know how to how to do that, It will be great.

Just drag panel where you want it while having Docky settings window open.

I think cairo-dock(open-gl) is awesome. Nifty themes and animations I got rid of bottom panel long ago.
May the source be with you...! 8)

Use AWN dock .. its the most stable.

I messed around a lot with Cairo but I found it buggy.
I like my docks like my OS. Set them up once, use them for life!

    Awn its the best choice!

Cairo has (In my experience) lots of graphic glitches and instability.
other docks you have to compile from source (pain in the ****)
