    Strange mouse problem

This problem occurs after both an upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 and a fresh 10.04 install. Problem occurs in both 32 and 64 bit versions. The mouse is a USB mouse made by Z-Boards, its the mouse that comes in the mouse/keyboard package.

The mouse seems to get "locked in focus" in windows. Once a window is clicked in, you can not click to other windows or items on the desktop, or the app bar on the top of the screen. However, if you right click in a locked in window that has a right click menu, you can than click out of it. If the window doesn't have a right click menu, alt-f9 minimize fixes the problem til you click in another window. The keyboard focus still works fine, you can use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the window. At times the mouse may have focus in one application while the keyboard has focus in another, in which case you must minimize all windows with alt-f9 in order to get out of it.

Exactly the same problem on a fresh installation. Using Logitech bluetooth mouse. I've also tried with a logitech normal wired mouse and there's no difference.

I saw a similar problem on launchpad, but his was temporarily solved by clicking a checkbox in assistive technologies. This does nothing for my problem though.

I have the exact same problem... Zboard also. I will try a different mouse and see if that helps.
