Now I know this question has been asked on these forums many times before, but it looks like it hasn't been asked all that recently, and things change, so I thought it's worth another go.
I'm doing pretty well at ditching Windows and using Ubuntu for all my home computing needs, but the one thing for which I still need to use Windows is if I want to use an Access database.
Now, I know that there are some fantastic database backends like MySQL or PostgreSQL that I can use with Ubuntu, but I've not seen any database front end to rival Access for usability. LibreOffice Base does the job, I guess, but it seems awfully clunky in comparison.
Does anyone have any suggestions for anything else to look at? I don't mind getting my hands dirty with a bit of programming if need be, but would prefer to avoid doing too much if possible.
Thanks
NM
