mp3 files not detected by banshee

Greeting all the folks out here. I m a newbi to ubuntu & preparing to migrate complitely.
To point today i download some mp3s . & take them to my music folder. Now banshee is not detecting it . I had tried ''rm banshee.db" & reimport the same folder but banshee did not detect those specific files.
What to do ???????

have you install ubuntu-restricted-extras so that you have the mp3 codecs?

Thank you for try, But the problem is in extension & with out codecs you can not play a single thing.
