Hey everybody, i would like to know if anybody uses the IRC channel #ubuntu-maine on freenode.net. When i check there it is always empty, maybe it is the time Difference (I'm in Germany but not for long anymore ). Is there some activity in this channel or not?

You think that's air you're breathing now?
I'll be there. I never re-added the chan to my auto-join list. So Ill be at least idling in there.
You'll see me in there once in a while -- whenever I'm on IRC.

I personally rarely remember to log into IRC and when I do it stays hidden in the background for the entire time I'm on. I think we should move to something a bit more personable such as a Mumble/Murmur voice chat system. Once I get back on broadband (dealing with DSL right now) I can set up a server.

I prefer irc, voice chat is something I don't generally care to use, though it should work fine on my dsl. I have cable atm, but that will probably change soon due to financing (a lack thereof)
I prefer IRC over voice chat too since I'm usually doing a couple of other things while I'm logged in.
How about am IRC Meeting? We could make up a time to meet in the Channel and chat.
Sounds good. I'll be there!
