Why do people buy macs?

Lol, people buy Mac's because they want top of the range kit or just want to look cool.

Those may be two reasons some Mac users buy Macs, but those aren't the only reasons.

Almost all of the commercials made for Microsoft are done on Macs as that is what MS's ad agency uses.

But I have seen CGI (along with audio and foley) done on Sun Micro stations (that is what was at Skywalker Ranch when I was there.)

Also there is quite a bit of software that can only be used on Macs. Another reason why people might need to buy Apple Mac's for their job!
