got the solution
Fixed with:
Step1: add "blacklist rt2800usb" to:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
Step2: Force the removal of the wrongly loaded module "sudo modprobe -r rt2800usb".
Now its working.....
