windows wont maximize from task list

ps: the only way i maximize is by switching windows using alt+tab through compiz

,what i meant was that once the window is minimized, I am unable to maximize the window once it is minimized from the task list panel

about a month after a fresh install.

anyways, sorry for the bother. it seems that it was a problem with xfce4 because once i installed gnome the problem was fixed, but i still have the problem with xfce.
