    Live CD with OSS

Does anyone know of a live cd (preferably USB) that has the latest oss(4.2) on it? I'm wanting to try out freebsd but for me there won't be a point of my sound card doesn't work.

What's your sound card? I have never had any issues with sound on most of my machines with FreeBSD.

Try Freesbie. It's a FreeBSD LiveCD project.

Else you can make a minimal LiveCD with the tools as explained here

Xonar essence stx. AFAIK they have been doing work with the xonar d2, but that is pci and a little different.

Long story short, freesbie wouldn't boot so I used an ubuntu usb image, removed alsa and pulse, installed oss, and got nothing. Some would say it's just sound, but that's kind of a game breaker for me.
