New Members and Group Status

I've been a long time Ubuntu user and just moved back to the DC Metro area. I poked around the DC LoCo but I don't see much activity going on. I hope this group is still active and would be very much interested in joining the group and dedicating time and resources to this groups success!

Hi,

We try to meet in IRC Saturdays at 6:00 PM, and often in person before that at Taste of India restaurant (http://toidc.com/).

I get a bit scattered: Saturday for me was planning for Scratch Day, May 22 at the Arlington Career Center, as part of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) / SugarLabs group in DC. Sunday was planning for Digital Capital Week -- a.k.a. DC Week in June.

Primarily, we do CD hand-outs at events and some bug jamming, but hey, if you've got ideas / energy to share, pipe up on the mailing list.

Tomorrow (April 20, 2010) we go before the LoCo Council for reapproval.
