HI frustrated windows user here. Looking to put virtual machine on Linux and use windows when i have to. I am expecting some frustration but looking forward to the idea.

I have just started a wallpaper site for something to do. Here it is. Let me know what kinds you would like and i'll try to abide. Blessings to all.

Please be careful with links and such things here, we are quite concerned with spammish posts that appear to use our traffic to get audience. The above site hosts many trackers and intrusive pops.

Agreed. Just checked it out myself; I use Ghostery & Adblock plus with both Firefox and Chrome, and there's some 8 or 9 trackers.....all blocked with Ghosty, of course, but just goes to show. Several 'pop-ups', too... It's not as bad as one of PCWorld's pages about switching to Linux; I counted a total of 87 trackers some 3-4 months ago; as of yesterday, it's since dropped to a 'mere' 32..!

A lot of folk don't realise just how many companies out there are determined to "hitch a ride" on other people's traffic, as bapoumba says; so, PLEASE.....BE aware. Many times, the web site owner isn't even aware of the trackers on his/her website... I believe it's facilitated, in large part, by the domain suppliers.

Hey! I'm "new" on this forum!

I live in France, 24 years, fanBoy of Ubuntu! My case are Ubuntu magnet and Stickers, i have a lot of Ubuntu sticker, pen, magnet, pins etc...
