I have been using ubuntu and linux in general since 2003! Though I have frequently used this forum to grow and advance my knowledge, today seemed like a great day to login and actually pay it forward! As well as needing a minimum of ten posts to actually gain access to a better part of my settings and things inside of ubuntuforums lol. Any who happy to be here and look forward to chilling with everyone in the digi world!

Hi all,my first time on Ubuntu.
Previous Linux Mint, cinnamon. Arch Linux, Manjaro, Mx-Linux, Solus.
Liking Ubuntu so far, it feels stable, and crisp, but hey its a new install.
Anyone have a link to common terminal commands please.

Good evening all hope you are all well, firstly id like to say im not 100% a linux noob but im not a seasoned expert, ive been running linux for a few years now mainly fedora but ive aince moved to Ubuntu i Primarily use gui but im not scared of the terminal either. just thought id give you all a brief intro 😃

I've used Linux off and on since 1999. A very long time ago, I was part of this forum with the user name T700 and a bunch of beans, but that user seems to have gone the way of my Blackberry.

Happy to be back and happy to be running Ubuntu and Lubuntu on some laptops again. The changes during the time I was gone are nothing short of revolutionary. The OS feels almost commercial in its simplicity and the fact that it "just works" for 99% of the time.
