Please do not PM me about your forum account unless you have been asked to. The correct place to contact an admin about your account is here.
As a short introduction to me as a Person, i am close to 50, not much of a Forum user nor a peoples Person at all . I am crazy about any Linux Distro i can try and test, running 4 PCs and a Laptop with all together 19 different Distros installed at once, simulating a Network including Web- and Mailserver, simultaneous running a TOR Middle-Relay and blogging here and there.. so you see, i am crazy, but this is not about me today.
I just want to say how much i love this place, i come here since years, never had to open an account or to ask, all i wanted to know have i found here, i learned nearly everything i know here.
And today i had a problem which was solved " exact " 10 Years ago.
On November the 26. 2009 in the thread /showthread.php?t=1234983&p=8387532#post8387532 i found the solution for my problem.
sadly the user who posted the answer isn't here anymore to thank him in person.
but this coincidence brought me to my first forum posting ever, just to say thank you People, you help so many like me, without even knowing.
As i said i am no Peoples Person, so i do not know how to express myself, but i have said what i have to say.
Keep up your great work, we, the silent ones, appreciate it.
THANK YOU ALL
Kind regards
Ethan J. Hawk

Howdy. I've been a casual fatdog, and mint user for a few years. I just did my first ubuntu install last night. I like long walks on the command line and wording introductions like a dating profile because I pretend I'm funny to deal with life.
