Howdy all!
I have a (unworking - not because of operating system, something(s) related to video blew on the motherboard) desktop that was running Ubuntu 10.xx something or other. I since purchased a laptop that has replaced it. I've missed Ubuntu for so long but yesterday 1/19/2015, I finally got around to installing Ubuntu 14.04 LTS dual with Windows 8.
Glad to be back. (still a noob of a sort)

hello all. i use to be a part of this community and then life (school) got in the way. but now i got the chance to install 14.04 dual booted with win8 on my inspiron 15z and its fantastic! im sure i would have continued learning so much more if i hadnt stopped using ubuntu back in 2011. glad to c the community thriving and glad to be back.

Glad to be here. Downloaded the desktop version today and I must say I love Ubuntu. I was here in 2010 and now I'm back. So much has improved
