Mrs QIII says I act like I am 12.

    Close enough?

There are plenty of people of all ages here.

@hai3: This is the introduction thread. As you've introduced yourself, perhaps you should direct further enquiries to The Cafe sub-forum. You may have more luck (not a discussion thread here).

Welcome, have fun and good luck.

Re: Welcome to the Forums - Introduce yourself here

I am Becky. Sometimes my husband will post here, too. We have been using linux for around 2 years. We started using Ubuntu, then we use Ubuntu Christian Edition. Then when Ubuntu 14.04 came out, I wanted to use that, but I didn't like the de of Ubuntu, so I started playing with Lubuntu, Xubuntu, and Kubuntu. At first it was a toss up between xubuntu and lubuntu, but after more playing, I have discovered that lubuntu is truly my favorite and I am staying with that. I have even tried PCLinux, Cinnamon, Mate, and Mint. But after trying all of them, I keep coming back to Lubuntu. It has been so easy to use and setting the appearance and feel of it has been the easiest of al of the Linux distros I have tried. Thanks Ubuntu for being here and giving us an alternative to microsoft windows.

jcrdlasesssb; Hi ! My Welcome to the forum.

I too like the simplicity and configurability found in Lubuntu.
You will find many here who follow that preference - use case suits preference.

    I wish
    happy trails to you
