Hi there, I familiarize myself with Ubuntu back in 2008; I'm no expert but I can find my way around. My purpose of coming on here is to get more information on a desktop environment on ARM based phones. For the past year i've been watching Ubuntu phone/Edge/Windows RT like a hawk and I hope sometime in the next two years to see something similar for what I want. Even a beefed up version of Maemo would suffice.
Anyway I'm happy to be apart of this community (again) and hope to better understand Ubuntu as a whole.

hi all. I'm a noob Linux person. I'm very interested in the Linux secure environment and hopefully and pick up some tips on these forums. I'm an AutoCAD/GIS technician by trade but like programming (Python and LISP).
Thanks a lot.
Hello everyone, I am not quite sure if I have ever actually introduced myself. My name is Ken, i'm 34 i've started using ubuntu and linux in general sometime around 6.10 or 7.04. I'm a chronic distro hopper and love to tinker. I am currently trying to build Ubuntu touch to my device as well as making other android roms. I'm also toying with the idea of learning some html5 in the near future. Nice to meet everyone
