hi, i am new to linux, i have installed ubuntu 9.10 and lovin it... I am facing one problem though ... i dont know wheather or not my webcam is installed. I am using a lenovo g530 laptop and the webcam is built in. i've downloaded camorama webcam viewer but everytime i click on it it says error msg"could not connect to video device (/dev/video0).Please check connection". When i try it on skype i dont see the video option like it used to show on windows... however when i went to skype options it shows under select webcam Lenovo webcam. and under the test box if i clicked video would show...
can someone please help me install my webcam if it is not installed.
