John Dias' fix with brocktice's mod works perfectly on my brand new N61J!

If you just copy/paste brocktice's mod, don't forget John Dias' step 2., I did at first and thought it wasn't working.

OMG! Thank you so much! This nearly completes my transition to Linux permanently. FREE FROM WINDOWS!! 15 years I've been wishing for the day I could completely work on Linux. Thanks to WINE All the Adobe CS4 apps I need work.

John Dias' scripts worked for me on my Asus U50F-RBBAG05 Intel i3 laptop! I can now suspend Linux Mint. So, I don't have to use Windows when I'm on the run.

The only other bug I'm experiencing with Linux is that my speakers don't mute when I plug in my headphones. But, I'm sure the fix is out there or on the verge. This was the last worst thing I needed to fix.

And I also can confirm that the keyboard backlight is blinking in some random pattern for me during suspend. I have an Asus G51J

Thank you, it worked on ASUS G73JH, but after resume the USB ports are disabled. How can I enable them?

And also on a G60JX, though, like Greeble in this thread, I have a craaaaazy flashing keyboard backlight when the laptop's suspended. Anybody else seen this?

Confirmed working for the ASUS G51J (Non-3D & Non-Backlight LED Keyboard)

However, in addition to this:

sudo chmod +x /etc/pm/sleep.d/20_custom-ehci_hcd

I also need to do this:

sudo chmod 755 /etc/pm/sleep.d/20_custom-ehci_hcd
