How to change print quality of Canon iP4700

    Hi to all,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and have successfully installed the drivers for my Canon iP4700 printer. I have no problems printing but I can't change the print quality.

I go to System - Administration - Printing and double click the default printer. When the Printer Properties window is displayed, I would go to Printer Options and on the right side there is the setting for Output Resolution. The default is 600 dpi. There are no other choices but 600 dpi.

Is there a way to change the print quality to something higher or lower? In Windows, there is always a selection for Fast, Normal and Best. By the way, I'm using driver version 3.20. Thanks in advance.

I checked the driver version 3.2 and saw that they've only tested it for Ubuntu 9.04 not the one I'm using (9.10).

Is there anyone out there who can verify that they can change the Output Resolution of Canon iP4700 on Ubuntu 9.04 or 9.10? Thanks again.

The drivers from this site allowed me to change the print quality.
