    MSI Wind U130 or Asus 1005p + Ubuntu + Huawei E220 USB 3G Modem

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy either MSI Wind U130 or the Asus 1005p, they're my favourite netbooks for my budget.

First question, is the MSI Wind U130 good? Also, will it work well with Ubuntu?
    Likewise with the Asus 1005p?

Which one is the better notebook, the specs are th same. However, the Asus claims to have a better battery life? Which is quite important.

I would like to see 99.9% working out of the box. I'm not a very experienced Linux user, so if it all could work - that would be perfect! Which one would be the best for out-of-the-box Ubuntu compatibility. They both come with Windows 7 Starter, but I don't want this as I already have a Windows machine for my tasks.

Second question, how good is Ubuntu Netbook Remix when compared to the real thing? I'm not sure which one to run. I can buy a USB CD drive quite cheaply, so if needed I'd buy one and install the desktop version. I'm looking forward to 10.04!

If anyone could help me with this purchase, I will be extremely grateful.

Thank you, I appreciate you're time.

    P.S

    The price is identical.
