    Windows has something similar to Conky

    Just found this and it looks a little like conky but for Windows.
    Intel E5700 G41 8Gb Xubuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 13.4, WinXP.
    Revo R3610 Win7 Pro, Ubuntu 13.04

    I've seen people talk about Rainmeter before; nothing really "new" to be honest.

    Maybe good for XP users. But I don't really see how it would be worth it with Windows 7's free floating gadgets.
