So here's my problem. I have a Compaq Presario F767NR which as far as I know has the default hardware installed. Three days ago I upgraded to Lucid through the Update Manager and everything seemed to be going fine, but then during some intense downloads I heard a small click (somewhat like that of an external hard drive that won't spin up), just once, then noticed my wireless indicator was flashing blue/orange according to activity. It is also dropping wireless connections randomly.

The reason this is odd is that it has never done this before. The wireless indicator has always shown solid blue when off, solid orange when on. Now it seems to remain blue unless there is Network activity.

My main question is whether this is a driver issue due to the update or could my internal wireless card be overheating?
