So any hints or clues on what's in the works for System76? I'm planning to pick up a laptop in the next 2 - 3 months, but would hate to pick something up to find out a new / updated model is coming out.

Our current line-up is pretty new, so it probably will be around for a while. But changes can certainly happen suddenly.

We *may* refresh our netbook sometime during Q2, but I really don't have any reliable info on that right now.

Thanks! I keep hoping that the CD ROM drive will be made external and a dual HD or "larger battery" option will show up.

I only use the CD for ripping music, so most of the time I don't need and would love to get a dual HD set up -- solid state for the OS and rotating for data.
