Hi Y'all! We have done 2 Linux fests at ITT Atlanta, and they were really fun. April 24 is the date of the next one. Do you know offhand if the full release of 10.4 will be out by then. It would be cool to make this a release party for 10.4 as well. This Fest may seem a little early, since we had the last 2 closer to the end of our quarter at ITT. That caused some wild logistic issues at the school (at least for me and my team), so the event template has been changed. The template is the fourth Saturday of every third month so... April 24th, 2010 July 24th, 2010 October 23rd, 2010 January 22nd, 2011 and so on. We have always had a good turn-out of ITT students, and this is a great way to humanize the Linux-using lifestyle. I have been working up a speaker list for April, and beyond. If you have a talk or a neat how-to presentation, please consider using this venue as a practice run for your piece. Expect lively interaction from the audience.

I so wish I could come up there, but, I'm not sure. As I said in introduce yourself I'm 13, so I cannot drive myself But, I hope all goes well!

What do I need to do to attend?
| Corsair Carbide Series® 300R | Intel Core i5 650@3.20Ghz| OCZ-Vertex3 120 Gb SSD | Western Digital 640 Gb HDD | Western Digital 1 Tb HDD ||Gigabyte GeForce GTX 950 Extreme | Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64 | Windows 10 Pro |
All you have to do to attend is to appear on the 24th, interested in Linux. -Wolf I will have some Beta-2 disks burnt for the event, and maybe next time we are so close to a release date, we should put the event on a date a week later than the release. That would make it easier to have an Ubuntu Release Party at the same time.
