    Donating Computers

Ladies and Gentlemen of North Carolina,

When I first started using Ubuntu, I read a story (on The Fridge, I think), about a man somewhere here in Eastern North Carolina that takes old computers, reloads them using Ubuntu, then donates them to schools and such. I have two old desktops sitting in the garage, and I can no longer find the story. I would like to find out who it is so I can see if he would like these machines. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Re: Donating Computers

Here is an organization that I am a part of. www.kramden.org Currently we are installing a Community Program Windows XP, but we have been meeting this week about switching to Ubuntu. I am really excited about this, because I love Ubuntu, and it will be getting out to young hands to learn and love. This could be Ubuntu's next generation users. Let me know if you have any questions about this organization.
