If your webcam doesnt work try this!!

I currently ran across this apt that gave my webcam the jollies!!!My webcam is kinda old,but it still works.The program is called "Cheese".Hope it helps my fellow Ubuntu homies.

Copy into your terminal:
sudo apt-get install cheese

After you install goto Applications>Sound & video>Cheese webcam booth

If your webcam doesn't work, then Cheese will not work either. It's not like Cheese actually fixes your webcam or installs a driver or anything.

sometimes cheese will not see the cam ether
so you
open a terminal type, gstreamer-properties click enter
click video try v4l1 and v4l2

and try cheese again
