Install Nvidia 310M Driver

Hi All

I use karmic and i want to install my vga driver Nvidia 310M Driver but there is not any driver on nvidia.com i also tried envy and hardware drivers but when i install 185 driver and reboot i just see a black screen . what should i do ?

Apparently the problem is with your card. A mint user is having the same issue http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopi...40899&p=235742
I guess the problem stems from the fact that the GeForce 300 series was meant for OEM systems only.

Hopefully the noveau project will be able to come up with a compatible driver soon...
