Lost document

I just saved a document in open office. Computer asked me should I overwrite a blank document, and I clicked yes. Now I have the blank document, and can't find the document I saved. How do I find it? Thanks.

I usually use the find or locate commands to look for stuff. What's the name of the file. If you invoke openoffice again and open the document back up does it?

Check Recent documents in the File menu.
