I am new to Ubuntu, and this is my first attempt to use the Canoscan N67OU on Ubuntu. The scanner works properly on Windows. The scanner is recognized by Xsane,and it mechanically scans the document, but the Xsane viewer shows a black image with several virtical white lines. I have seen similar problem reports related to previous Ubuntu versions, but no solution. Please help me connect my scanner so I can finish converting to Ubuntu.
