Curious how do you display pdf's in a email's body?

I was wondering if there is a way (the more simple the better) to display a pdf in a email message? Anyone know?

Other than making an image of the bit you want to display and including that in the body of the email, I don't think so.

The easy way: You don't.

The harder way: You use an e-mail client with integrated pdf viewing. (I'm not sure that this even exists, but I think it ought to.)

Thing is a friend of mine is trying to do a email display like you get from advertisements with pics and etc. And is trying to use a pdf file.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but none of the possibilities strike me as practical.

Convert the PDF to an image. Easy. Email clients nearly all have the ability to display common image formats inline. None that I am aware of have the ability to display PDFs inline, nor have I seen one that can load a PDF reader as a plugin like with Adobe Reader in a browser.

Agree with mastenetra, the only way is prolly using a img. take a screenshot and dump it inside rich HTML

The "convert" tool in imagemagick is installed in Ubuntu by default, even.
