File roller renaming folders...

I'm trying to install Matlab on Ubuntu, and it involves me extracting ~80 files which all contain an "update" folder. Problem is that once I do a mass extract, file roller renames the folders so they're named Update (1), Update (2), etc. and it totally screws the installer up. I can't believe there isn't an option to change this behavior somewhere, have I missed it or is there some sort of workaround this? It's incredibly enfurating. Thanks in advance.

Try using another file extracting program. I would suggest ARK offhand, or using the command line if you want to get your hands dirty...
